About the Newmarket Jobs Initiative

The Newmarket Jobs Initiative is a program of the Newmarket Business Improvement District in partnership with a network of over 70 Employer Partners and counting! Our mission is to connect these employers who have well-paying career opportunities right here in Boston and the surrounding communities, with local job seekers who are referred to us from any of our broad spectrum of outstanding Community Partner Organizations.*

What makes us different from Indeed, LinkedIn, etc…

We take a small, high touch, high support approach to the job placement process from search or posting to after an employment match is made!
Every job seeker has to be referred to us through a Partner Program where they are personally known to the staff.
Employers agree to provide salary information and CORI-friendly status for every job posted on our platform up front so there’s no guessing or gambling with things that really matter.
Employers give priority consideration to resumes submitted through the Newmarket Jobs platform.
The large majority of our opportunities are full-time and ALL of our postings pay well ABOVE minimum wage.
One Newmarket Jobs Initiative Director maintaining relationships with everyone means you never have to deal with anyone you don’t know and always get friendly, caring, personal service if you need it and you’re always known to the people who are looking out for you.
